organisations are ready to offer solutions and services for older people
and carers. Or perhaps you can assist them by volunteering.
Age Concern Eastbourne mission is to enhance and
improve the experience of later life for people in
Eastbourne through delivery of first class activities,
services, information and advice to promote well-being

Eastbourne CAB provides free, confidential and impartial
advice to everyone and can explain basic rights and
responsibilities in; employment, housing,
immigration/nationality, consumer debt & family and

Consumer Right at Directgov Older people are
often the target of unscrupulous traders and
criminals running scams. Do seek advice before
committing to purchase or parting with money. For advice telephone

NHS Direct. Telephone or web based health advice. Not
just for when you’re feeling unwell - they can help with
general information on medical conditions, advice, and
details of local doctors, pharmacists and support

East Sussex Community Information Service is
an on-line computer database of local and
community information developed and managed by
the Library and Information Services of East Sussex County Council
East Sussex Energy Partnership is providing people with grants for free
or discounted insulation and renewable technologies on behalf of your

Eastbourne Seniors' Forum is an independent
organisation which gives a collective voice to the over
50s of Eastbourne, helping them to influence decision-

Leisure Facilities for the Over-fifties.
WRVS provides a range of services to help people in
need who might otherwise feel lonely and isolated.
The Eastbourne Russell Centre at 24 Hyde Road (off
Gildredge Rd) is open Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.00. You can book a
fresh 2 course lunch by telephoning (01323) 412279. The centre offers
a friendly welcome and has various daily activities including IT

Cruse Bereavement Care charity exists to
promote the well-being of bereaved people and to
enable anyone bereaved to understand their grief and cope with their
loss. Services are free to bereaved people. Eastbourne and Seaford
